The smallest bin we run, and the one that suits soil, sod and a single afternoon. 12 ft long, 6 ft wide, 2.5 ft high, holding about 2 pickup loads, with 1 tonne of disposal included in the price.
The 6 yard is 12 ft long, 6 ft wide, 2.5 ft high, which works out to about 2 pickup loads of debris. The price includes 1 tonne at the transfer station; past that it is $120 a tonne, billed off the scale ticket you receive with the invoice.
The rental period is 7 days. Extra days are $10 each and can be added by phone without the bin moving. If you finish early, call and we will collect it sooner at no extra cost.
This is one of the sizes that takes clean fill. Concrete, brick, soil and asphalt can go in it, loaded on their own with nothing mixed through. See heavy debris rules for how those loads are handled.

What Cannot Go In
The prohibited items list is short and it does not bend
Paint, solvents, fuels and oils, tires, batteries, propane tanks, sealed hot water tanks, electronics, appliances still holding refrigerant and anything containing asbestos are refused at the scale, on this size and every other.
The reasons are practical. A landfill will not take a tire, a sealed vessel is an explosion risk in a compactor, and a refrigerant line has to be drained and tagged by someone certified before the appliance can be scrapped.
If one turns up in the load it is pulled and charged as a separate disposal, which is the one fee nobody expects. The prohibited items list is worth two minutes before you load, and what we take covers everything that is fine.
