The 30 yard is 20 ft long, 8 ft wide, 6 ft high, which works out to about 12 pickup loads of debris. The price includes 3 tonnes at the transfer station; past that it is $120 a tonne, billed off the scale ticket you receive with the invoice.
The hire runs 10 days as standard, which matches most site clears. Each day past that is $25, added by phone with no need to move the bin. If the job closes out early, one call brings the truck forward for free.
Space is what you are buying here, not tonnage. Heavy inert material goes in a 10 yard or 14 yard at the fill rate instead, or the allowance is gone with the bin barely covered. See the weight limits page.

What Cannot Go In
The prohibited items list is short and it does not bend
A site clear at this size usually hides its refusals in a corner: drums, solvent, waste oil, a battery bank, tires off a machine, and any plant still holding refrigerant. Sealed hot water tanks and anything with an asbestos question belong in the same group.
These are separate licensed streams, not fussiness. A landfill will not accept tires, a sealed vessel is an explosion risk once compacted, and refrigerant must be recovered and tagged by someone certified before scrapping.
Identify and remove them before the general clear-out starts rather than finding them at the scale, where each one becomes its own disposal charge. The prohibited items list is the short version and what we take is the long one.
