The 14 yard is 12 ft long, 8 ft wide, 4 ft high, which works out to about 5 pickup loads of debris. The price includes 1.5 tonnes at the transfer station; past that it is $120 a tonne, billed off the scale ticket you receive with the invoice.
The bin stays 7 days, long enough for a roof to come off and be cleared. Extra days run $10 each and need nothing more than a phone call. Done early? Ring us and we will take it away sooner for nothing extra.
Clean fill is permitted in this size too, loaded on its own: concrete, brick, soil, asphalt, nothing else through it. The rules for an inert load are on heavy debris rules.

What Cannot Go In
The prohibited items list is short and it does not bend
A re-roof produces shingle, felt, timber and nails, and all of it is fine. What is not: the old vent stack sealant, any paint or solvent stored in the garage below, tires, batteries, propane tanks, electronics, and any unit still carrying refrigerant.
Each refusal has a reason at the far end. A landfill will not accept tires, sealed vessels become an explosion risk once compacted, and refrigerant must be recovered and tagged by someone certified before an appliance can be scrapped.
If one is found in the load it comes out and is charged separately, which is the fee that surprises people most. The prohibited items list takes two minutes to read before the first bundle goes in, and what we take lists the rest.
