Clean Fill Bins
Windsor concrete and clean fill bin rental, unmixed
Concrete, brick, block, asphalt, soil and stone in a dedicated small bin at the inert rate, loaded on their own with nothing else through them.
- 6 to 14 yard only
- No mixing
- Inert facility rate
Why It Is Separate
Clean fill goes to a different site in a different bin
Concrete, brick, block, asphalt, stone and soil are inert. They go to a recycling or fill facility rather than a landfill, they are crushed and reused, and they are charged at a much lower rate than general waste.
That only holds while the load is clean. One bag of general rubbish through a fill bin and the facility will not take it, so the whole load is redirected and priced as mixed waste. This is the single most expensive mistake on a construction bin.
It is also why fill only goes in a 6, 10 or 14 yard. Inert material weighs about a tonne a cubic yard, so a larger bin would be too heavy to lift long before it was full. Heavy debris rules covers the rule, and demolition debris the mixed bin.

Tell us the material
Concrete, brick, asphalt or soil. Each goes to a slightly different facility.

Small bin, placed close
Where the machine or the barrow can reach it without a long run.
-
Nothing else in it
No timber, no bags, no packaging. One contaminant redirects the whole load.

What Counts
What qualifies as clean fill, and what quietly does not
Concrete without rebar, brick, clay and mortar, rock and stone, asphalt and gravel, dirt and sand, and untreated natural wood are all accepted as fill. Broken into pieces a machine can handle, they go straight to the crusher.
Rebar is the usual complication. Small amounts protruding are normally fine; a slab laced with heavy mesh may need to go as general waste instead, so mention it when you book rather than at collection.
Wet concrete or slurry is refused outright, and treated or painted timber is not natural wood no matter how it looks. If a load has any doubt in it, a photo before we load is faster than a redirected bin. What we take has the accepted list and pricing the fill rate. There is more on construction bins.

Windsor clean fill bin questions
Two ten yards for the slab and a twenty for the rest. Cost a fraction of one mixed bin.
They asked about rebar before quoting, which is the right question and nobody else asked it.
Six yard bins for soil, swapped three times in a day. Exactly the right way to do it.
Good rate on the fill. We had to keep an eye on the labourers not throwing bags in.
