The Whole Process

How your Windsor bin rental works, call to collection

What actually happens between the first phone call and the scale ticket, including the two points where most of the cost is decided.

  • Priced on the call
  • Next-day drop-off
  • Ticket with the invoice

Where Cost Is Set

Two moments decide what a bin rental costs

The first is the phone call, where the size and the tonnage allowance are chosen. Get that right and the quoted price is the final price. Get it wrong and either the bin is too small or the load goes over its allowance.

The second is loading. A bin filled level with the rail, with heavy material spread across the floor and fill kept separate, costs exactly what was quoted. One heaped above the rail cannot be collected at all.

Everything between those two points is logistics rather than money. What size bin covers the first, and weight limits and overage the second.

Start To Finish

The four stages of a bin rental

  1. Quote on the call

The job, the address and where it sits. Size, tonnage and total, all before booking.

  2. Delivery

Next day on most bookings, boards down, placed where you marked it.

  3. Your rental period

Seven or ten days by size. Extensions by phone, early collection at no cost.

  4. Collection and weigh

Weighed at the transfer station, scale ticket attached to the invoice.

What We Ask

The four questions that price a bin accurately

What is going in, because material decides weight and weight decides both the size and the final bill. Roughly how much, in rooms, roof squares or pickup loads, any of which works.

Where the bin will sit, because a driveway needs no permit and a street does, and because a 40 yard needs 25 feet of clear space that a 10 yard does not. And when you need it, which sets the delivery window rather than the price.

Four answers and the quote is firm. Anything we cannot answer from them, we would rather ask than guess at. Permits and placement covers the third question and pricing shows how the figure is built.

Straight Answers

Windsor bin rental process questions

A day or two for a driveway bin. If it has to sit on the street, allow a week or more, because the city permit is the slow part.
No, as long as the spot is clear and marked. The driver sends a photo once it is placed.
After collection, once the load has been weighed, so the invoice reflects the actual tonnage with the scale ticket attached.
Yes, at no extra cost. Call and we will collect it on the next run through the area.
We swap the bin, usually same day if you call before mid-morning. That is a second delivery rather than a penalty.
