The tonnage is the part worth reading. A 10 or 14 yard includes about a tonne and a half, a 20 two tonnes, and a 30 or 40 three. Past that it is $120 a tonne off the scale ticket, which arrives with the invoice.
What is not in the price: extra days at $10 to $25, a street permit where one is needed, and the two avoidable charges covered in avoiding extra fees. Bin sizes lists the dimensions against each price.

The size

The material
Clean fill goes at the inert rate. Mixed waste does not.
The rental period
Seven or ten days included, then $10 to $25 a day.
The placement

Why Quotes Differ
Why two bin rental quotes for the same job differ
Almost always the tonnage. A quote that looks $60 cheaper with half a tonne less allowance is more expensive the moment the load goes over, and heavy loads nearly always do. Compare the included tonnage before the headline price.
Then the rental period. Seven days against ten is worth $30 to $75 in extension fees on a job that runs long, and jobs run long more often than they run short.
Then the surcharges. A quote with a fuel levy, an environmental fee or an admin charge on top is not the number you will pay. Ours has none of those, and the four things that can be added are listed on avoiding extra fees.
