The 20 yard is 20 ft long, 8 ft wide, 4 ft high, which works out to about 8 pickup loads of debris. The price includes 2 tonnes at the transfer station; past that it is $120 a tonne, billed off the scale ticket you receive with the invoice.
Ten days are included, because a renovation at this scale rarely runs to a week. Additional days are $25 and can be added mid-hire over the phone. Call when you are done and we will collect ahead of schedule at no cost.
It is a volume bin, not a weight one. Concrete, soil and brick belong in a 10 yard or a 14 yard, because dense material passes the allowance long before this bin looks full. The weight limits page has the numbers.

What Cannot Go In
The prohibited items list is short and it does not bend
On a full renovation the refusals arrive mixed in with everything else: paint and solvent from the store cupboard, fluorescent tubes off the ceiling grid, an old air conditioner, tires, batteries and any propane or sealed hot water tank.
None of it is arbitrary. A landfill will not take a tire, a sealed tank can rupture under compaction, tubes carry mercury, and refrigerant has to be drained and tagged by a certified technician before the unit can be scrapped.
Anything on that list that reaches the scale is separated and billed on its own line. On a bin this size the load is deep enough that nobody notices until the invoice, so the prohibited items list is worth a read at the start, with what we take for the rest.

No. Heavy material goes in a 6, 10 or 14 yard bin. In a bin this size it would pass the weight allowance well before the bin was full, and the overage would cost more than the right bin would have.
