Almost everything in a house goes in the bin: furniture, mattresses, carpet, clothing, toys, kitchenware, books and the contents of every cupboard. Appliances go in too, as long as anything holding refrigerant has been drained and tagged first.
The refusals turn up in the same three places every time. The garage shelf with old paint and solvents on it. The tires nobody got rid of. The propane tank from a barbecue that has not worked in years.
Those have to go elsewhere, and if one reaches the scale it is pulled and charged as a separate disposal. Set them aside before you start and the bin stays simple. The prohibited items list is the short version, and junk removal covers the pieces nobody on site can lift.
