The 10 yard is 10 ft long, 7 ft wide, 4 ft high, which works out to about 3 pickup loads of debris. The price includes 1.5 tonnes at the transfer station; past that it is $120 a tonne, billed off the scale ticket you receive with the invoice.
You get 7 days, which covers most single-room renovations end to end. Beyond that it is $10 a day, added over the phone with the bin where it stands. Finish sooner and a call brings the collection forward at no charge.

What Cannot Go In
The prohibited items list is short and it does not bend
A kitchen or bathroom strip turns up the same four every time: a half tin of paint, a tube of adhesive, the old hot water tank and whatever was behind it. None of those go in. Nor do tires, batteries, propane tanks, electronics or anything still holding refrigerant.
The reasoning is the receiving facility, not us. A landfill will not take a tire, a sealed tank can hold gas and rupture in a compactor, and a fridge line has to be drained and tagged by a certified technician before the shell can be scrapped.
Anything that reaches the scale on that list is pulled and billed as its own disposal line, which is the charge people are least ready for. Two minutes with the prohibited items list before loading avoids it, and what we take is the positive side of the same page.
